The recent wave of consciousness in the last decade has led many young and old people to Pan-Africanism. The return to the continent and love for all things black has resurfaced interest in African history and ideologies of the past.

Between the 1920s to 1970s, there was a stronger push for a united Africa and a call on all Africans to join the Pan-African movement for a better future.
