Denyce Graves
Graves is an opera singer with a mezzo-soprano range. Graves studied voice at the Oberlin Conservatory and the New England Conservatory. In 1995, Graves made her first feature at the Metropolitan Opera. Over the course of the 2000s, she has sung at several ceremonies and tributes to include the 2016 dedication ceremony of the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C. She is currently on the faculty board at the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, Maryland as a voice instructor.
