Black woman scales fence to dance before a lion at Bronx Zoo; Police on the lookout for her (Video)

Cops in New York and zoo workers at the Bronx Zoo were alerted to videos of a woman who climbed over fences at the menagerie to “interact” with animals, including one where she danced before a lion only a few yards away.

Face2Face Africa gathers that the woman’s identity is now known to the police. Reports have her name as Myah Autry, aged 32, and living in Brooklyn.

The NY Post adds that friends say that Autry has acted weirdly for about a year.

As the caption to one of the videos she posted to her Instagram on Wednesday, Autry wrote: “I REALLY HAVE NO FEAR OF NOTHING BREATHING. ANIMALS CAN FEEL LOVE JUST LIKE HUMANS.”

Police are confident of finding Autry and charging her with trespassing.

Authorities at the Bronx Zoo put out a statement saying: “This action was a serious violation and unlawful trespass that could have resulted in serious injury or death”.

Predictably, it is the danger in which Autry put her life that took over social media conversations over the matter.

In another video that Autry posted to her Instagram page, it is apparent that she smoked a joint before entering the zoo.

Indeed, she captioned that video: “I STAY WITH THE FINEST HERB ON MOTHER NATURE.”

Unsurprisingly, a few have mentioned that Autry’s actions may have been spurred by marijuana. But this school of thought is in the minority.

The state of New York has one of the most relaxed drug laws in the United States thanks to years of political pressure.
