Zendaya – Marie Claire Magazine
22-year-old American actress and singer, Zendaya Coleman who began her career as a child model graces the September cover of Marie Claire magazine. Zendaya has featured in various productions such as Spiderman, The Greatest Showman Alive and most recently Small foot, an animation Fantasy musical that would be released later this year. Zendaya has often times been described as the ‘acceptable form of black’, as she is light skinned even though she is born to a black Father. She is an avid advocate for the rights of black women especially in a white-dominated Hollywood industry.
With other fashion houses yet to reveal their fall issues, we hope to see more black people gracing the covers and making us proud!
