Caroline Esinam Adzogble: the 28-year-old Ghanaian redefining education in Africa

At 28, Caroline Esinam Adzogble is a seasoned educational consultant and a champion for better educational opportunities across Africa. She owns her own accredited international college as one of the youngest female entrepreneurs in Ghana.

The Ghanaian-born inspirational and multi-award winning entrepreneur, philanthropist and educationist has a deep passion for changing education in Africa and she is already doing so.

Ms Adzogble has interest in multidisciplinary business ventures and has spent the last 10 years in that area. As at 2017 at age 25, she was managing business ventures such as Potters International College, C-Tech Solutions, The Mercy Heart Foundation and IAES.

Today, she owns Caroline University – a non-academic university – that offers short term seminars and professional development courses to aspiring entrepreneurs and corporate organizations in different cities.

As a brilliant teenager, Adzogble had wanted to become a medical doctor. After graduation from senior high school, her dream of becoming a doctor was shattered as her parents could not afford the fees.

While her peers went off to college, Adzogble chose to pursue courses in Information Technology. She soon fell in love with IT as she learned the power in technology and how it links intercontinental communication.

Adzogble founded an IT Training Institution in 2012 known as AITC, offering courses such as database administration systems, hardware and networking, software and web development.

Today, Adzogble is a national asset in the field of education. She is the founder and CEO of the Caroline Group in Ghana, Kenya, UK and USA – a major conglomerate and one of the largest education groups around the world.

Caroline Group, which is making education very affordable and accessible in Africa says it is redefining education through training, consulting, marketing, travel and philanthropy.

Her multicultural experience has earned her the right to consult for groups of schools across the globe. The Group offers International University Services, International Boarding School Services, tailored travel related services to students and summer programs and philanthropy projects.

In 2008, Adzogble secured a US$1million scholarship scheme for 100 African students. In 2019, she also secured a 100-laptop project for students and she was appointed as GOA Institute of Management African ambassador.

Adzogble personally pays tuition and provides laptops to students who need them. On her 28th birthday last month, she granted 28 wishes to her fans on Instagram.

She has received numerous awards including the MEF President’s Youth Prize in the field of Education and Xperience Womanity Awards for Education.

“My core belief is that everyone is entitled to a world-class education irrespective of their age, race, colour and financial status. I am still on my quest to uplift Education within Africa and beyond,” the young and dynamite entrepreneur who seeks to retire two years from now at the age of 30 said.

To young people, Adzogble has this to say: “My life isn’t all peaches and cream; I have failed many times but I have also won many times. You do not give up; you keep pushing. I have a dream and I am living it every single day. Live your truth and be kind to yourself. Most importantly support other women.”
