Cincinnati mom shares how psychic helped her locate daughter’s remains

Tonia Litman said she got frustrated with the pace at which police investigation into the disappearance of her daughter was going. So she decided to seek the services of local psychics. She claimed she ultimately located her daughter’s remains after a psychic told her where she was.

In an interview with FOX 19, Litman said she and her 28-year-old daughter Kadidra Roberts communicated on a daily basis. But after not hearing from Roberts for several days, Litman said she sensed something was wrong. So on August 25, she reported her daughter missing to Cincinnati police.

And though the phone calls with Roberts had ceased, Litman said her daughter “called out to me every day until I found her.” Litman said that was made possible by the help of a local psychic, adding that she decided to seek their services after she grew frustrated with the police investigation. 

“A detail one of the particular psychics told me took us to that house,” she claimed. The house in question was located in Elsmere, and Litman, on September 1, initiated a search after the psychic gave her the lead. 

Litman also informed the police of a tip she received about a man. She told the investigators that she remembered her daughter had hopped on a video call with that individual on August 17. The criminal complaint stated that Litman claimed she received third-party information that the man stayed in that home, FOX 19 reported.

But the complaint did not state how Litman “remembered how she knew” the man as she could not initially identify him. The complaint did not also detail how she managed to get the man’s name before police ultimately arrested him. The man was identified as Theodore Lamont Myers.

Litman told the news outlet that the psychic told her that Roberts’ remains had been disposed of in a wooded area at the back of the home. She, however, said the psychic did not provide information about the man. Litman also said she used the psychic’s tip to locate her daughter’s body. 

“I went deeper into the woods, and I seen a shallow grave. I knew at that point that was her. A mother knows… I knew,”  she recalled. “Everything that she said was around my daughter was around her.”

Litman said she notified the police after rushing out of the woods. Kenton County investigators ultimately searched the man’s home after obtaining a warrant two days later. They also announced the remains had been discovered. On September 7, investigators confirmed the deceased person as Roberts after running a fingerprint test. 

Myers, 53, was arrested the next day. In the wake of Roberts’ disappearance, footage from a home that was close by showed a man repeatedly going to and fro the home and the wooded area. The complaint also said that investigators found Roberts’ personal items at the home after the search warrant was executed.

But Myers told investigators that he and Roberts had “partied together through the night” after they met at a program in Downtown Cincinnati. He said they subsequently returned to his home and “passed out.” Myers claimed he later passed out again after waking up and eating breakfast. And after waking up for the second time, Myers claimed he noticed Roberts was unresponsive, FOX 19 reported.

Myers said he disposed of Roberts’ body out of panic. “I’m real angry,” Litman said. “I am because he didn’t have to do it. If he knew something was wrong, he should have called 911.”

The attorney for the Commonwealth, Rob Sanders, said Myers told investigators he decided not to call 911 because he had taken drugs. “Now I’m out of a best friend because she was my best friend, and [her children] are out of their mother, and it’s just too much,” said Litman. “So, it’s going to be hard, and I don’t know if I can ever have peace.”

Myers, who is being held at the Boone County Detention Center, has since been charged with abuse of a corpse and tampering with records. Sanders had also said additional charges could be brought against him.
