DJ UNIVERSE will host an "ALL WHITE PARTY" at Hamptons hotspot Seasons of Southampton, a benefit for the MacDella Cooper Foundation Academy. The MCF Academy is a tuition-free boarding school for Liberia's vulnerable and at-risk youth, especially orphaned and abandoned children.
Proceeds from this event will grant additional scholarships for the 2012/13 academic year. Along with their Academy scholarship, each incoming student will receive their own personal bed to sleep in (something many of these children have never had before in their lives), plus uniforms, shoes, a backpack filled with supplies, and three nourishing meals each day, all in the safe and secure educational environment provided by the MCF Academy.
Additionally, joining hands in charitable partnership across the globe, the MCF Academy will donate a portion of proceeds from the event to a wonderful New York organization that shares the MCF vision: the Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreation Center. Born out of tragedy in 1949 when a house fire killed the untended children of migrant farm workers, BHCCRC continues to serve the lower income and growing migrant populations on the East End of Long Island, offering after-school and teen programs, a summer camp, and many other services. For more information, visit them at www.bhccrc.com.
The event will feature a fashion show by world renowed designer, Zang toi. Media Partners include Face2face Africa.
