Found only in Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon, the Goliath Frog is the largest frog in the world with some growing up to 32 centimetres in length and up to almost 3.5 kilos in weight.

The species are however endangered due to habitat encroachment and destruction by humans. They are also hunted and sold as pets and almost always do not breed in captivity. They can live up to 15 years in the wild and 21 years in captivity.
