Face2face Africa Confirms Guests of Honor For The “I am a Professional African” Networking mixer

New York, NY-  On Friday, July 29, all roads lead to Marquee, 289 10th avenue, New York, NY at exactly 6pm. Join other professionals and friends of Africa for the inaugural “I am a Professional African” Networking Mixer brought to you by Face2face Africa.

The mixer, which will be held quarterly, is designed to promote collaboration and to foster professional relationships between individuals, companies, and organizations with an interest in Africa. Attendees will have the opportunity to sign up and briefly talk about their companies or organizations, and share information on how people can get involved.

The event will bring together professionals from different industries, disciplines, and career fields, as well as some of the prominent leaders in our community.

The networking will commence at exactly 6pm and it is highly encouraged that all attendees arrive early to avoid the long entry line. There will be an opportunity to participate in a raffle to win two (2) roundtip tickets to Africa, courtesy of Arik Airlines. A portion of the proceeds will go to Oxfam America to help alleviate the recent drought and famine crisis in East Africa. She graduated with honors (Summa Cum laude) from the Newhouse School of public communications (Syracuse University, NY) and spent a lot of time in the media industry working with companies such as the New York Times, HBO, and MTV. An avid believer in Africa with an interest in showcasing the glory of the continent, Ms. Appiah is also host of “The Sandra Appiah Show”, an inspirational talk show that chronicles the journeys of Africa’s movers & shakers.
