The event is designed to include all cultures in a night celebration.

Sponsor-One Foundation:

Sponsor-One Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides educational assistance to children in the schools of rural Liberia, West Africa. The rural areas are the most underdeveloped areas of Liberia and many children grow up in these regions without ever receiving the quality of education they deserve. The few who do have the opportunity to become educated are faced with the overwhelming obstacles of poverty. Most students attend school without adequate
materials, proper footwear, or a meal; and a majority of students walk hours to school in difficult conditions.

Education is a right that every child should be entitled to, and no child should have to suffer for an education. We believe the demands of education these children face are difficult enough without themThe event will feature a presentation of all the arts from Film and spoken word, to live painting and dance. having to worry about lack of materials or food. Students cannot be
challenged to the best of their abilities when there are so many hindrances to divert them. Sponsor-One Foundation aims to assist students at the primary and junior high level in combating some of the obstacles of poverty they face.

The Sponsor-One Foundation will provide students with classroom materials, proper footwear, and a school lunch program to help them worry less about what they don’t have, and more on maximizing their abilities in the classrooms. As future leaders of Liberia, these students deserve to be more education-focused without poverty dictating their future.

Sponsor One foundation has developed a fundraising strategy to raise capital and awareness by organizing a series of benefit concerts annually. In an effort to expand our reach as an organization, Sponsor One developed a long term business plan to raise funding for our
programs, and spread the word about our organization’s cause to give back to the kids in Liberia. 20% of each ticket sold goes directly to the organization's efforts to better the educational experience for the Liberian youth.
