Twenty-three-year-old footballer Frank Lutalo (pictured back, far left), a.k.a. Majja, was buried in Uganda on Thursday, after a short illness.

Majja was a striker for the newly promoted super league Lweza FC and had previously played for Katale Football Club now known as Artland FC in the Wakiso First Division.
Some quarters believe Majja died from a blood clot in the brain, after a collision occurred in training at the Uganda Clays Sports Grounds in Kajjansi, but his coach, Viali Bainomugisha, denied such reports to BBC Sports.
Bainomugisha insisted that there was no recent clash of heads, but remarked, “We’ve lost a promising player, a great talent, and we are sorry for our brother, for the family, and the country as a whole.”
His former teammate Ronald Mutegesi said, “It is such a big loss for we shall miss his services. He was a fox in the box.”
A lot of teammates would remember the young striker for his positioning sense and dribbling skills.
Majja’s teammates will be mourning him with their club chairman Mr. Damulira Ahmed who asserted that even at tender age, Lutola was a club legend.
This is the second death in a month for Ugandan active professional footballers. Farouk Sekimwanyi of Kyengera died of a heart failure, after collapsing during training. He is said to have been fasting during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
