Giving back to the society, no matter how big or small or irrespective of your status or financial backing, always gives a priceless feeling that cannot be explained.

Most of our favorite African-American celebrities are involved in quite a considerable number of charitable causes both at home and in other parts of the continent. With their influence, connections and huge financial backing, they have been able to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged.

Be it education, health, or skill training, just to mention a few, the lucky recipients and beneficiaries of these projects and campaigns have gotten another shot at life.

Extending a helping hand beyond the shores of the United States, some of these African-American celebrities have successfully funded and built schools on the motherland. With that being said, Face2Face Africa shares with you five African-American celebrities who have built schools on the continent.
