Gun packing Texas grandmother shoots masturbating robber on bicycle

A 68-year-old Houston, Texas grandmother didn’t hesitate to shoot a robber who was caught masturbating outside her home.

Identified as “Granny Jean,” she was taking trash outside on Tuesday when she spotted a man pleasuring himself on a bicycle.

She said, “Some guy pulled off his pants and pulled his pants open, playing with his thing,” “And he ran up and I told him to get away from my door, or I will shoot him.”

That didn’t deter the individual as he tried to gain access to her home, “And he kept coming and reached for my door after it was locked, so I shot through the door” the grandmother stated.

“He kept coming and kept coming and reached for my door after it was locked, so I shot through the door,” Granny Jean reiterated.

The unidentified 38-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. He was able to ride his bike a short distance before collapsing. He was taken to an area hospital and had surgery.

Houston Police Department Lieutenant Larry Crowson confirmed that the man was recently booked after being found walking down the street in the nude; he was charged with indecent exposure.

The perpetrator is in critical condition.

Officers are working with the Harris County prosecutor’s office to determine if Granny Jean will be charged for shooting the self-pleasuring robber.
