Ylias Akbaraly
Ylias Akbaraly is the Chairman and CEO of the Sipromad Group and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thomson Broadcast. Sipromad was founded in 1918 by Merally Manjee, the grandfather of Ylias Akbaraly. In 1972, Sermamod Akbaraly, the son of Merally, took over the leadership of the family business. In 2000, Ylias Akbaraly took over the leadership of the company, now known as Sipromad Group. Sipromad Group is a diversified conglomerate operating in more than 30 countries with more than 20 subsidiaries. In 2019, the Group made an annual turnover of 235 million Euros.
