Marsai Martin is currently wearing the crown as the Youngest Executive Producer in America after bagging the bragging rights with “Little”, the movie that stars the 14-year-old princess of Hollywood alongside Isa Rae and Regina Hall. The movie’s trailer stopped the internet earlier in January leaving fans hungry until it premieres on April 2019.
The young actress turned executive producer spends her time juggling between movie production and recording for Blackish among other things we are yet to find out. But while the full adult schedule might seem tedious for the 14-year old, Marsai is busy proving two things: there is nothing she can’t do and there is still enough room for more on her plate.
On February 27, 2019, the young actress took to Instagram to share yet another set of amazing photos to her over 700 thousand followers to gush over. The pictures featured Marsai looking fit in a very all black sporty wear but what caught the interest of her fans was the new office space and caption that said: “New chill spot… kinda.” An epic way to announce her latest milestone.
The already successful pacesetter can now add founder to her titles after the successful set up of Genius Productions, her own production company.
Based in Los Angeles, the aim of Genius Productions is to create compelling stories for television, features, and digital while creating, marketing and distributing cutting-edge content including features, television (scripted/non-scripted) and digital projects.
Fans reacted with great enthusiasm to the announcement while others took a chance at getting a role or job with the new company which focuses on telling more original and unique stories, especially from the black community.
We don’t know how many doses of Black Magic that Marsai is on, but her pace and consistency is definitely an inspiration to young black girls all over the world.
