When one person’s way of expressing love is different from the partner’s, this often brings trouble, according to Gary Chapman, a relationship counsellor and author of best-selling book The Five Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts.

In the book, Gary highlighted the significance of being able to express your love to your partner in a way they will understand.
