Rui Hachimura (Benin)
Born to a Beninese father and a Japanese mother, Hachimura made history when he became the first Japanese-born player to be selected in the first round of the NBA Draft. The former Gonzaga University star was selected by the Washington Wizards with the 9th overall pick in the first round.
