Mike Tyson shows off stunning speed and power as he trains for boxing return [Video]

Former heavyweight legend Mike Tyson is 53 but he has not lost the raw speed and power that made him such a dangerous champion.

The boxing star disclosed last week that he has started training in preparation for his return to the ring to compete in exhibition bouts for charity.

Tyson shared a clip of one of his sessions on Twitter and fans were shocked to see the former world champion throwing punches with electric speed.

Many believe that the 53-year-old could actually knock out anyone with ease if he is to return to the ring.

Tyson told American rapper T.I. last month in an Instagram Live that he has been training for some weeks.

“That’s been tough, my body is really jacked up and really sore from hitting the mitts.”

“I’ve been working out, I’ve been trying to get in the ring, I think I’m going to box some exhibitions and get in shape,” Tyson said.

“I want to go to the gym and get in shape to be able to box three or four-round exhibitions for some charities and stuff.

“Some charity exhibitions, make some money, help some homeless and drug-affected motherf****** like me.”

Tyson, who is one of the most celebrated figures in the boxing world, has 50 wins from 58 professional bouts out of which 44 came from knockouts.

His last professional fight was 15 years ago when he lost to Kevin McBride.
