Never again! These 21st-century conflicts cost Africa millions of lives

Africa has been plagued with a number of internal conflicts. After the exit of the colonial masters, the continent, with its new leaders have found themselves in a number of protracted power struggles. 

These struggles which were brutal, intense and characterized with hate vary from personality clash, rivalry amongst ethnic groups and regions.

Although the continent is healing from these clashes, the scars remain visible in the territories affected and in the minds of the people.

In this article, Face2Face Africa highlights the causes of some of Africa’s deadliest 21st-century conflicts and the estimated number of lives lost.
