Face2face Africa’s 2016 Pan-African Weekend To Kick Off July 8-10 in New York City- Early Bird Tickets on Sale!

Get ready, New York City, for the biggest Africa-focused event this summer! Premier Pan-African media company Face2Face Africa has officially announced the dates for its 2016 Pan-African Weekend (PAW) in New York.

The Pan-African Weekend is Face2Face Africa’s signature annual event and one of the most-prestigious gatherings for the celebration of pan-African achievement and excellence. A powerful and sensational action-packed three-day event, PAW was created to highlight the individuals and ideas that are transforming Africa, while celebrating the pioneers, trailblazers, and leaders who have paved the way for the next generation.

The 2016 edition, which is set to take place in New York City July 8 to July 10, will mark the 5th-year anniversary of Face2Face Africa.

To celebrate this milestone, Face2Face Africa will honor several iconic personalities at the FACE List Awards Gala (main event) and will invite all previous honorees back for an unforgettable commemoration. Guests will enjoy a delectable full-course dinner, a night filled with entertainment and inspiration as well as the opportunity to meet and network with the celebrities and power players of pan-African affairs.

The awards dinner and reception also creates the opportunity for the business community to connect, network, and celebrate the success stories emerging within the pan-African community each year.

The distinguished 2016 honorees will be announced later in June. Last year’s honorees included actors and humanitarians Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker, one of Africa’s youngest billionaires and founder of the Mara Group Ashish Thakkar, NBA Africa Managing Director and Vice President Amadou Gallo Fall, CIO of Walmart Asia Fumbi Chima, renowned fashion designer Mimi Plange, and more.

The 2016 Pan-African Weekend is proudly sponsored by Prudential Financial Inc.
