Poem: African Name Brands

Made in Kush yet perfected in Nubia and as if made in Italy or Belgium made us,
Africans and non-Europeans, less respected, trust-worthy, and Humans!

Made in Nubia and perfected in Africa, the truth of it all is sad but just like Buffalo soldiers,
We keep marching on until we come face to face with Lions.

Self-absorbed with your children’s well-being and the Pursuit of [True] Happiness, you rise.
What type of instance are you? You seem to be always down; please dust yourself, oooh.
You appear to constantly be defeated an at war with the world.

What kind of example can you be for your future generations?
It is definitely your time and just like dawn, you ought to manifest yourself.
Star of stars that shines at noon, you relief and redemption will be here soon.

Made in Kush yet perfected in Nubia.
As if made in China or Japan made us less humans,
We perfected our craft since we are this universe’s gift to you, world.
