In 1994, members of the Hutu ethnic majority in Rwanda murdered as many as 800,000 people, with the majority of them coming from the Tutsi minority. Since the genocide, the country has made strong strides to transform itself in to one of Africa’s most progressive countries due to its embrace of technology and its distinction as the only country in the world with more female MPs than male ones. Rwanda is also a country with some of the most exciting natural wonders and tourist attraction sites in the world.
