What people know of most African heads of state are the boring sides of their lives including government meetings and official events.
It is rare to see pictures of African leaders cool and collected at home with their families unless after their retirement like we recently saw of the former Botswana President Ian Khama.
He was out of his regular suits and was visiting a village without security detail to interact with residents and give them gifts.
Kigali-based journalist, Edmund Kagire, who works with The EastAfrican and Rwanda Today newspapers tweeted pictures of a rather cool Rwandan President Paul Kagame who was whiling away the time playing basketball among other activities.
