Apart from the six-storey building housing the galleries and artifacts, there will be spaces for a Herbal Plant Farm, a Palace of African Kingdoms, a Pan African Heroes Park, and a Festival Park.
The Project is governed by an International Board of Trustees, Academic Council and an Executive Council.
Registered in Ghana, USA and UK as an international NGO, the $30million Museum project is being funded through Donations, Gifts and Grants.
The project was first globally launched virtually in September 2020 by the President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Among those who have also paid to plant trees on Wednesday are Dr Awal Mohamed, the Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture; PAHW Academic Council Members Prof Abena P. Busia and Prof Amina Mama; Ghana’s Ambassador to Germany Mrs Gina Blay; Mr Franklin Cudjoe, President of IMANI-Ghana; Mr Akwasi Agyeman, CEO Ghana Tourism Authority; Prof Etienne Ehile, Secretary General of Association of African Universities; Prof PLO Lumumba of Kenya, Dr Arikana Chihombori-Quao; President of ADDI Rabbi Kohain Halevi, Executive Secretary of PANAFEST and Member of the International Board of PAHW, and Brenda Joyce and Mr Ladi Nylander, both Members of the Executive Council of PAHW.
