Arkansas real estate developer and investor Pam Brown Courtney owns a firm called Pam Brown Courtney Inc., which runs a multimillion-dollar real estate portfolio and real estate consulting business.
Her journey in the real estate world began when she volunteered for a friend’s mom who was a real estate investor. “So, the more I volunteered to help her, the more she taught me, and the more she taught me, the more I liked it. The more I like it, the more I loved it, and the more I loved it was the more I asked her about it,” she told Shoppe Black.
Courtney recalled making inquiries about a gated community in Little Rock, Arkansas, she found amazing. Unfortunately for her, the people living in the community weren’t friendly to her and so she abandoned the idea of living there.
The unfriendly postures, instead of demoralizing her, inspired her to build a similar community. She built a unique community from scratch that has 51 homes in Little Rock, Arkansas. The community became known as Covenant Cove Community.
Courtney highlighted the role of God in her journey to build the gated community. “The Universal God gave the location to me,” she said. “I’d like to make it sound really fancy like I hired some architects, engineers, realtors, prospect lookers, and investors. That sounds really professional and all of that. But the real prophetic thing is that I asked the Universal God to help me.”
“I told Him I was new at this, and I needed some guidance and direction,” she recounted. “He [God] sent me to a vacant piece of land and said, ‘Here it is right here.’ I don’t even think it had a for sale sign on it. It was just a vacant piece of woods and the Universal God said, ‘This is it. This is what I’ve been saving for you.’ That’s the truth.”
It is therefore not surprising the name she chose for her estate, which suggests that she has a covenant with God, a covenant she has dutifully executed.
And that was how Covenant Love Community came into existence. The community consists of 51 beautiful custom-built designer homes. On its website, Covenant Cove Community says its homes come “with 12-foot ceilings, architectural crown molding, hardwood, plush carpet or tile flooring, designer paint, Jacuzzi bathtubs, stand-alone showers, large walk-in closet, security system, professional landscaping and sprinkler system.”
Courtney wants to share her success story with others in the hope of motivating them to venture into real estate. “It’s important to me because someone invested that into me. Someone planted the seed of hope in me,” she said.
