It may be more than two centuries since the TransAtlantic Slave Trade ended, but slavery is still very much alive in many African countries as well as much of the ancient world.

No wonder many Black African people that make it into America 'cherish' the American society opportunity of freedom, the pursuit of happiness and prosperity regardless of the high odds of Black people daily encounter with America's social foundation of racism.
