For Lil Kim by Mwende ‘FreeQuency’ Katwiwa

On social media, she was scrutinised, taunted, and even accused of trying to aspire to whiteness. In this poem, the poet explains what happened to Lil’ Kim, and why we should not be quick to forget about the prejudice that is colourism.
