Statuesque Events by Feyisola announces VIP guests to attend the Afripreneurs of Tomorrow Scholarship Ball in NYC on Friday, September 30.

New York, NY September 29th, 2011  — Statuesque Events by Feyisola, (pronounced Stat-choo-esk E-vents by Fe-yi-sho-la) an event planning and décor company based in the metro NY area introduces a signature charity event, The Afripreneurs of Tomorrow Scholarship Ball in New York, NY early this fall.

320 Studios, a chic midtown loft located in the heart of New York will bring together a host of African performers, professionals and community leaders at the Afripreneurs of Tomorrow Scholarship Ball on Friday, September 30th, 2011. The evening will feature dinner courtesy of Mataheko Restaurant, performances, scholarship presentations and dancing all in the loft decorated by Statuesque Events.

The proceeds of ticket sales, raffles and donations will be used to fund two scholarships to be awarded that evening. The young recipients, Ohemaa Poku and Toluwashe Oladapo, have been chosen based on their involvement in their communities and their essay response on the question “How are you an Afripreneur of Tomorrow?”

Feyisola Ogunfemi, the founder of Statuesque Events and the Afripreneurs of Tomorrow program, launched this program as a continuation of a successful scholarship program that she hosted in 2010 while she served as Miss Nigerian Independence. “It is such an honor to see how passionate people are about supporting this initiative.” Feyisola says. “I absolutely cannot wait to wine, dine and dance with everyone on Friday!”
