Donald Trump’s highly publicized and never-ending rift with Democratic congresswomen Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib, collectively known as “The Squad” has been summed up in a funny skit by popular animation series The Simpsons, who are known for occasionally trolling the U.S. president.
Titled “West Wing Story” which is a parody that is based off popular Broadway musical “West Side Story”, the video starts with Trump in the Oval Office sulking.
“So many problems, tariffs. I need a distraction,” he says. He then looks around and takes a photo of The Squad on his desk and starts singing.
“They shouldn’t be in America / No one but me in America / No taxes for me in America / This is my natural hair-ica,” Trump sings.
The women magically come out of the photo and chase him around the White House while clapping back at him.
“You’re Boris Johnson without the class / Can’t wait to see you behind prison glass / Your nose is right up Putin’s a** / We say it’s time to impeach you fast,” they sing.
The chase continues through the White House lawns where Trump sees demonstrators holding placards calling for him to be locked up and impeached. He makes a run for it but he is ambushed by the 2020 Democratic candidates who are dancing in a formation.
Trump subsequently joins them and tries to keep up with the tempo.
“Can’t be the first one to lose my breath,” he says while trying to catch his breath.
Unable to hold on any longer, he falls to the ground and collapses. Joe Biden teasingly laughs at him and asks: “Who’s an old man now?”
