Kenya

Kenya now ranks as the third-largest source of students in the US from Africa, having been eclipsed by Ghana.

Placing third on the table listing the number of students from African countries in US universities and colleges, the number of US nationals studying in Kenya has also fallen sharply.

US universities enrolled 3,451 Kenyans in the 2018/2019 academic session amounting to a 3.9 per cent as against its 2018 reports where 4000 Kenyan students enrolled in US institutions annually.
