Two Yoruba kings and Congolese queen confirmed to speak at the launch of the Pan-African Heritage World Museum on Sept. 21

Two eminent Yoruba kings, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, the Alaafin of Oyo, and Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife as well as Queen Diambi Kabatusuila of the Democratic Republic of Congo will join Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo to launch one of Africa’s historic monuments, the Pan-African Heritage World Museum in virtual space on September 21.

A brainchild of the founder of the African University College of Communications in Ghana, Honorable Kojo Yankah, the Museum to be completed in 2022, will be a center of pilgrimage for people of African descent to unlearn and relearn the history, culture and civilization of Africa from the creation of mankind till today.

The Museum space will include a Garden of Sculptures of African leaders in sports, entertainment, politics, science and culture, as well as a Herbal-Plant Farm, a Palace of African Kingdoms and accommodation.

“It is dedicated to the youth of Africa and the diaspora who need inspiration to play their rightful role in the world”, Yankah says.

The Museum project, to be managed by an international NGO, backed by a council of eminent scholars, will be funded through donations and grants.

The virtual conference which is being organized by Pan-African media company Face2Face Africa, a partner of the project, will take place on Monday, September 21st from 11 am to 12:30 pm.

The vision for the museum, including plans to raise $30 million to complete the project, will be unveiled at the launch. President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, will be delivering the keynote address.

Other speakers include eminent African traditional leaders, some of the major scholars on the Academic Council, and coordinators from across the world. Ambassadors of the museum project, Ghanaian artiste Sarkodie and American rapper, Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), will also perform.
