Drink more water

You need to stay hydrated for your body to function well. This also has added benefits of making your skin look fresh and less scaly. Do yourself a favor this year and buy an eco-friendly water bottle.

Do well to drink at least 3 liters a day and you will see how your skin will begin to glow. Remember, you do not have to drink water only when you are thirsty. For the forgetful ones, there are apps that can remind you to drink water. Also, remember to wash your face twice a day with clean water. Water is good for you, both internally and externally.

Go organic

When it comes to skincare and hair products, make sure to choose organic products. It’s always easy to get deceived by the ingredients on labels. Be sure to know what you are putting on your skin or hair.

If most of your products are edible, then you are well on your way to plying the organic route. They work better with no side effects that could come back to harm you years later.

Eat more vegetables

Carbs are like the necessary evil we know we must do away with but find it difficult to do so.  The product of carbohydrate is sugar which can manifest on the face as pimples. They also add extra calories that won’t be good for health.

Carrots give you a clearer vision. Cucumbers keep you hydrated, and broccoli is good for the skin because of minerals and vitamins like vitamin A and C and zinc. The list is endless. Practice portion control and increase your vegetable intake for a more beautiful version of you.

More skin, less makeup

It’s good to glam up every now and then. However, if you wear makeup all the time, it can take a toll on your skin. You end up aging faster. Let your skin breathe and add more organic facial routines to you to cleanse your pores and rejuvenate your facial cells.

Use hair masks and trim split ends regularly

Your hair goals can only be attained when you treat your hair right. Add hair masks to your routine like deep conditioners to help moisturize your mane. You can retain more length by adding hair masks to your hair regimen.

Also, do not fear a trim as it would end up adding length to your hair. When your hair is weak, it tends to break off from the middle, leaving your hair scanty. Trim off split ends to keep your hair bouncy and healthy.
