The “golden child” is finally here!

Track and field legend Usain Bolt and his longtime girlfriend, Kasi Bennett, welcomed their first daughter on Sunday, CNN reports.

Though the couple are yet to announce the birth of their bundle of joy, Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness all but confirmed it on Monday by sending them a congratulatory message on Twitter.

“Congratulations to our sprint legend Usain Bolt and Kasi Bennett on the arrival of their baby girl!” he shared.

The highly decorated sprint legend and record holder held a gender reveal with Bennett in March, in what was a memorable event.

Surrounded by family and friends, the highlight of the night, which was, of course, the baby’s gender reveal, was all sorts of cracking. After a video of their journey was shown to the excited guests, pink fireworks exploded in the skies, revealing the couple were going to have a daughter.

Guests, who cheered and applauded as the skies lit up, were gifted pink “Baby Bolt” hats to celebrate the “Golden Child”, according to TMZ. Bolt was also later spotted in a custom “Girl Dad” sweatshirt.

The couple, who have been dating for about six years, announced they were expecting a baby in January.

Currently on retirement, Bolt, 33, holds the records for the fastest 100m and 200m races, a feat he achieved at the 2009 Berlin World Athletics Championships. With 23 gold medals to his name, the 11-time world champion is also the only male athlete to win three 100m Olympic gold medals, CNN reports.
