Congratulations are in order for Ms Mahlangu who will be conferred with a degree by the University of Johannesburg on Monday. The Ndebele artist will next month participate in the international women’s exhibition, also featuring conceptual artist Yoko Ono. The exhibition will be at the Nirox Foundation Sculpture Park in Johannesburg.
The University said that the honorary degree is in recognition of Mahlangu’s skills as an educator and cultural entrepreneur.
