For most robbery criminals, having a watertight escape plan is essential. However, even the best-laid plans go awry.
This was the case for three Ethiopians bank robbers whose escape plan was foiled by traffic.
According to the news, the would-be robbers were stuck in traffic in Addis Ababa after robbing the Abyssinia Bank.
The escape vehicle they used was involved in a crash, limiting it to only 50km/h. The robbers then took the wrong lane and ended up in terrible traffic that they were forced to jump out of the car and start running.
Needless to say, the police caught up with them and saved the bank from losing about $185,000.
This is not the first time criminals were apprehended in such style.
