News coming in indicates the President of Gabon Ali Bongo suffered a stroke last week. According to Reuters, Bongo, who has been president of the central African nation since 2009 has been admitted at the King Faisal hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Government officials have however come out to deny he suffered a stroke and claim he’s being treated for “severe fatigue”.
