Africa’s Top 10 Most Promising Stars in the Premier League

The premier league is arguably the best league in the world. This is because no team can claim to dominate or be unbeatable. The season is open and you cannot accurately predict which football team will win the Barclays Premier League Trophy until some few weeks to the end of the season. The contest is always nerve-wrecking, characterized with unmatchable suspense. For instance, it was believed that either Chelsea (current champion but languishing at the mid-table), Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool or Tottenham would win the 2015/2016 season, but for several weeks till date, Leicester City has maintained the number one spot. Many analysts have said the title is theirs to lose.

Just as it is difficult to predict the football season in England, it is also not easy for any footballer to break into the first team of any of the English football clubs. It is highly competitive. While there are numerous Africans playing all over Europe, the following up-and-coming athletes have been able to find their way into the first team of England’s biggest clubs. Highlighted in no special order, these are some of the best legs in England.

These players are young – none exceed 25 years of age – but very talented. They are also patriotic: some of them, rather than playing for the country where they plied their trade, have decided to play for their home countries in Africa.  Thus far, 2016 has been an enormous year for these newcomers on the world stage.
