The month of February in the United States cannot pass without the celebration of the Black History Month which recognizes the struggles of people of African descent who made significant contributions to the freedom black people enjoy in the 21st century.
The month has evolved since its inception in 1926 to become a full-blown festival with many African Americans decorating their homes and streets with black insignia and images of prominent black people.
The festival has crossed over into the classrooms where some teachers have become creative by decorating their doors using basic materials and school supplies to create images of strong black people.
