We all loved the villain Erik Killmonger in Black Panther.
Portrayed by Michael B Jordan, Killmonger was the troubled child out for revenge, mostly because of how he was raised.
Well, Ryan Coogler, Black Panther director has just revealed what really happened to Killmonger’s mother.
She was in jail and N’jobu and Zuri were planning to break her out. However, things did not work out as planned.
“The idea was when you see those guys talking over the paperwork in the beginning of the film, they’re talking about a way to break her out of jail. The idea was they never got her out, and she passed away in prison, so Killmonger didn’t come up with a mom either,” Coogler states.
