Bronny attends baseball game with father LeBron James just a month after his cardiac arrest

Nearly a month after suffering a cardiac arrest, Bronny James, the son of basketball superstar LeBron James, looked in good spirits as he was spotted watching a baseball game with his father and brother at the Dodger Stadium on Saturday.

The 18-year-old student-athlete suffered the health scare during a workout at USC on July 24. He was rushed to the hospital afterward and was eventually discharged three days later. His father was presented a $100,000 check for his LeBron James Family Foundation during Saturday’s game, New York Post reported.

Bronny’s recent public appearance comes after his father shared an Instagram video of the 18-year-old playing piano at home after he was discharged from the hospital. As previously reported by Face2Face Africa, the NBA prospect suffered the cardiac arrest during practice.

A spokesperson said medical staff was able to treat the teen before he was transported to the hospital. In the wake of the incident, sources told TMZ that Bronny was unconscious when he was transported from USC’s Galen Center to the hospital. The location is where the University of Southern California plays and trains. The incident is said to have occurred on Monday morning.

Bronny was a rising basketball prospect during his high school days at Sierra Canyon. His father has also previously spoken about his desire to play with him in the NBA.

“My last year will be played with my son,” James told The Athletic in an interview said. “Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.”
