Christine Souffrant Ntim: The Haitian entrepreneur and powerhouse who is changing the game

Christine Souffrant Ntim is a Haitian-American technology entrepreneur, keynote speaker and eco-system start-up expert.  Souffrant Ntim started out as the founder of Vendedy in 2014 – a social network with the aim of centralizing the world’s 200,000 street markets and digitizing $10 trillion dollars within the black economy.

The year prior, she quit her job as a banker to rebuild her native Haiti after the 2010 earthquakes. She recalls in an interview with Entrepreneur, “I quit banking to move to Dubai to study social entrepreneurship with the goal of launching a startup post graduation – little did I know that it would be Vendedy.”

Christine Souffrant Ntim…Kreyolicious

Souffrant Ntim was further inspired to formulate her own business by her mother, “I grew up understanding that the ways of life for many was selling in the streets. My mother immigrated to New York City and did what she knew best- sell Haitian artwork in Manhattan.”

She is now the Director of Startup Grind Dubai Powered by Google for Entrepreneurs and a partner at the GlobalStartupEcosystem.com.

She shares her insight on personal branding, online entrepreneurship, startup hacking, and exponential Tech AI by speaking at international conferences. Some of these include TEDx, SXSW, United Nations, and the European Union Forum.

Souffrant Ntim has been featured in Forbes 30 Under 30, AdAge 40 Under 40, Entrepreneur Magazine, Huffington Post and Haiti Changemakers 1804 List.

Some golden nuggets to take away from the young business maven? “If 99% of people don’t believe in your idea, you are either gravely wrong or about to make history.”
