Discover Mysteries Surrounding Egyptian Pyramids in Latest Assassin’s Creed

Fans of Assassin’s Creed Origins now have a reason to look forward to the next edition of the action-adventure video game because it explores the ancient Egypt in almost real-life detail.

The game’s developer Ubisoft has announced that the new series, which will be unveiled on October 27, features amazing scenes of the Egyptian pyramids, which have been reconstructed to give the user a genuine experience of the ancient Egypt.

According to Ubisoft, the new edition allows players to discover the entire ancient Egypt while experiencing unique adventures such as the lost tombs and the great ancient pyramids.

“From a gameplay perspective, Assassin’s Creed Origins is a re-invention of the foundations of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, a brand new vision that further pushes exploration, narration, combat and progression,” Ubisoft writes on its Q&A page.

Educational Gaming Tour

The new series combines ancient fiction with real-life historical happenings and figures, while taking players through an educational journey of the ancient Egypt. In fact it comes with a new mode titled “Discover Tour”.

It takes players on an exclusive expedition through history, eliciting distinctive mysticism and imaginations that have shrouded ancient Egypt for thousands of years.

Ubisoft says it had to work with historians and Egyptologists to figure out the perfect way to reconstruct the main scenes, particularly the ancient pyramids. Where history books failed to provide the right information, the historians and Egyptologists filled in the gaps.

“This is the first time in Assassin’s Creed that we’re recreating an entire country in all its diversity,” Ubisoft says.

Aside from the majestic pyramids, the new edition also features other great scenes, including the Nile Delta, with its entire wildlife, and the dry Giza region, with its extensive piles of orange sand.

It also gives players the option of enjoying the game in a combat-free mode, allowing them to travel through the gaming environment without bloody scenes. With the new feature, players can roam all the gaming scenes without restraints or threats.

Besides, it enables users to delve into the history of ancient Egypt while exploring dozens of guided tours organized by historians and Egyptologists.

Indeed, Ubisoft hopes to present the “Discover Tour” version to schools and other educational establishments as an interactive medium that teaches students the history of ancient Egypt.
