The event, organized by the R’ajawa Company that is the production house responsible for Marcille’s show, was the first step in launching the TV show, “African Inspired with Eva Marcille.”
The docu-series will focus on African culture and its widespread influence on modern life across the globe.
Ghanaian actor John Dumelo, gospel singer Gena West, as well as the creator of the TV show Lady May Hagan, among other known faces in the world of entertainment and fashion, were also present at the event.
For Season 1, Marcille will travel to West Africa, where she will familiarize herself with Ghana and Nigeria and some other selected parts of West Africa by talking to locals and historians about Africa.
She will also travel to Europe and several states in the United States talking to musicians, directors, producers (film and music), artists, authors/editors, and choreographers to explore their take on the continent.
