Fitness Tip 104: Get Comfortable with Being Uncomfortable!

Numerous successful people have said this quote, but it couldn’t be more true. If you want to be successful with anything in life, you have to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. By that I mean you have to be willing to leave your comfort zone to really discover your untapped potential.

Greatness doesn’t live in your comfort zone!

Many times we pray to God for our dreams to come true, but then when they actually start to become a reality and we realize we have to “step it up,” we get scared. And instead of looking fear and uncertainty in the face and blowing them out of the water, we tend to self-sabotage with endless excuses, such as:

  • “I don’t have enough time.”
  • “I don’t have enough money.”
  • “I don’t have enough education.”
  • “I don’t have enough support.”
  • “I don’t have enough motivation.”

Don’t make this mistake!

Get comfy with being uncomfy. I know you like the “familiar, safe, and I-don’t-have-to-make-an- effort” life, but you can’t get to that next level unless you’re willing to do what you’ve never done.

You can’t have the awesome destination with no journey or experience that fabulous glory with no story!

Being uncomfortable is part of the journey to success. The only reason why the space is uncomfortable is because it’s an unfamiliar territory for you. Well, it’s time to get familiar with being amazing and successful!

Coach Cass’ Nutritional Tip of the Week:

Coconut water is such an amazing beverage to get the electrolytes your body needs along with other nutritional benefits like calcium, potassium, and magnesium. This drink is great especially post-workout if you’re feeling drained and need a re-boost.

Don’t fall in to the hype of the artificially flavored unhealthy sports drinks. Go the natural way with coconut water. If you’re not drinking from an actual coconut, you just have to make sure the ingredients on the back only reads, “Coconuts.” If there’s all kinds of other additives, then that isn’t a good brand. Coconut water is not a replacement for your daily water consumption but another beverage option in addition to water.

Coach Cass’ Fit Tip of the Week:

Everyone starts somewhere. Don’t get discouraged just because you can’t do a push-up or pull-up. Or you can’t bench or squat a certain amount. The only way you get better is starting small, and then building your way up. It is much more important for you to do five reps with perfect form and full effort, then 50 reps of incorrect form and half effort.

Coach Cass

I am Coach Cass, and I was able to drop down 10 sizes, but I didn't lose the weight because I went through a crash diet or lypo. I just simply changed my diet. A reality about weight loss, especially if you have quite a bit of pounds to lose, is if your ONLY strategy to losing weight is exercising, with no intention of changing your eating habits, you’ll be disappointed, my friend. And if this former sugar, beef patty, cupcake, fried chicken, and candy addict can lose the weight, then you can do it too!!! Follow my fitness tips, and you will surely meet your weight loss goals.

  • This is a great article to help people become more comfortable with what's required to be in great shape. Accepting many of these things will make the dedication required to achieve what you want easier to come by. I myself have recently been learning about this discipline on this new diet I'm doing, It takes a little work but I'm getting great results, certainly nothing earth shattering, its not some miracle diet or anything. I found it over at http://realistic-weightloss.com if you wanted to check it out. Its one of the first weightloss systems that I have actually been able to stick too.
