Cut all contacts
The cliché, “out of sight, out of mind” works really true. After a breakup, keep your distance and cut all texts, emails, or calls.
Most importantly, cut them off on social media; there is no need to cruise their Facebook page, Twitter feed or Instagram account as this can make your situation worse. If possible, take them off your social media network for the time being.
In case you feel like texting or calling your ex, try and do something else like watching your favourite movies or shows or going shopping.
