After her surprise appearance at the Grammys where she joined the host Alicia Keys alongside Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith and Jennifer Lopez on stage, her mother, Marian Robinson, texted her to throw some unapologetic shade by asking if she met any “real stars” (ouch).
The former first lady shared the hilarious and witty text exchange between her and her mother on her Instagram page on Wednesday with the caption: “When your mom doesn’t think you’re a “real” celebrity…Tonight in Phoenix, I shared this text thread from my mom from #Grammys night, and I just had to share it with all of you. #TextsFromMom,”
Despite trying to convince Mama Marian she’s a real star, she wasn’t having any of it and her final sarcastic reply of “yeah” meant she had definitely made up her mind.
