Mother-daughter duo signs a deal to distribute their cosmetic products in 600 stores

Mother, Danielle Pasha, and her 17-year-old daughter, Samiah, from Augusta, Georgia, are the founders of The Beat House Cosmetics, which is changing the face of the industry one product at a time.

The company was started by Danielle (aka Pasha) who later brought in her daughter as a partner. The company was launched in 2020 when Samiah was only 14 years old, now, she serves as President of the firm while her mother functions as the CEO.

Pasha worked on developing her cosmetic line while away for three years in Afghanistan. “I am so blown away by all of the positive feedback I have received from everyone, it’s so surreal,” she said in an interview with Wundef. “I remember Facetiming my daughter, giving her instructions and tasks to help me out with the business in my absence, and now we are partners!”

After developing her cosmetic line, she recruited some of the most beautiful people to rock her makeup line, including her daughter who set the internet ablaze as the face and acting CEO of the company while Danielle was away. She has now assumed her role as President since her mother’s return in May.

Some of the products of Beat House Comestics include the critically acclaimed Knock Out Palette and the 2020 Palette, as well as the newly released “Legacy Palette.”

“Most teenagers are irritated by their parents and wouldn’t dare want to work with them, (I’m still irritated at times lol) but I remember missing my mom and not knowing when I would see her again, so I enjoy every second we get to spend together. Besides, I absolutely love makeup,” says Miah.

The business partners say they are dedicated to offering users a wide range of products for all age groups and lifestyles. This has found expression in their last rounds of success. The mother-daughter duo has signed a major distribution deal with Citi Trends to have their products sold in 600 of their stores nationwide, according to Black Business.

What is more, the startup has also been accepted into Amazon’s Black Business Accelerator program, which is dedicated to helping build sustainable equity and growth for Black entrepreneurs.
