Nigerian Senator Dino Melaye is trending on social media for appearing in a music video named after him and depicting his lavish lifestyle.
“Dino” by rapper Kach was shot in and out of a mansion with dollar bills flying over women and luxury cars. The Kogi West senator stepped out of a car wearing a T-shirt labelled “Legend”.
Social media comments suggest that there is everything wrong with the politician appearing in the music video which was allegedly shot in his house with his cars.
Music video or not, Senator Dino Melaye doesn’t hide his love for luxury items which he regularly flaunts on Instagram.
The senator is not new to controversies as he recorded himself last year singing and dancing to a Yoruba song in defiance of his “critics”.
The artist, real name Uche Kachikwu, is the son of Nigeria’s petroleum minister Ibe Kachikwu. He is reported to have defended the senator saying he did nothing wrong.
