Determining what makes a country most pleasant to live in is a tough choice, but a think tank group in London has had a way of doing this.
The Legatum Institute uses 104 variables to determine countries in the world that are pleasant to live in. These variables involve many aspects which can be categorised into nine groups: economic quality, business environment, governance, education, health, safety & security, personal freedom, social capital and natural environment.
With as the benchmark, it ranked 104 countries according to these variables then selected the top best in each and ranked them accordingly.
The report indicated that in 2017, global prosperity is at its highest since the report’s debut in 2007.
