Remedies to common ailments that are right there in your kitchen

Growing up as kids in Africa, there was always this or that herb or root our mothers would give us to rectify a medical situation. Some of them were quite bizarre and had us doubting their potency. Others became a part of us and are still a resort when these things pop up.

Interestingly, no matter how bizarre they were, our pain would be relieved before we knew it. That is because they actually worked and were used in ancient African folk medicine centuries ago. Till date, they are still being used
